I believe that each child has a unique set of educational and socio-emotional needs that must be met in the classroom in order for the child to flourish. It is my desire as an educator to meet these needs to the best of my ability through a three way approach. My approach includes discovery /problem based learning, cooperative learning, and teaching in a facilitator role. I strive to make education meaningful for my students by providing relevant learning experiences at appropriate challenge levels for my students. Education is not merely content. It involves educating the whole child which is accomplished by treating each student with care and support to meet all of their needs so that they grow to their full potential and that their natural talents develop fully.
