Performance Standard 4: Assessment of and for Student Learning

Each of these artifacts is evidence of the typical assessments I use to measure student progress in my statistics class. Artifact one is a test sample and Artifact two is a scoring rubric used to evaluate students on group presentations. Tests and projects are important assessment tools because they provide assessment from different perspectives. Also, tests are completed alone while projects are often completed in a group setting of two or more.
