As shown in the Artifact links, the learning environment in my classroom is one that inspires a sense of community among my students. It is an important life skill to learn to work with others, as that is something we will all have to do throughout the rest of our lives. I believe that through collaboration, students gain a deeper understanding and sometimes a different perspective of a topic. I strive to make my students feel comfortable enough in my classroom that they are open to express their concerns and questions freely without fear of criticism or embarrassment.
