Performance Standard 5: Learning Environment  

The teacher uses resources, routines and procedures to provide a respectful, positive, safe, student-centered environment that is conducive to learning.


The classroom expectations are clearly explained in the syllabus for all students on the first day of class and reiterated as needed throughout the year.

The lab group learning is an example of how the instructor maximizes learning time in addition to offering the students opportunities to work in a variety of roles within a group.
