Performance Standard 6: Professionalism The
teacher maintains a commitment to professional ethics, communicates
effectively, and takes responsibility for and participates in professional
growth that results in enhanced student learning. The
Science bowl competition allows the students to use their classroom knowledge
in a academic competitive environment. Students compete in February of each year
after several months of practicing outside of the normal classroom setting. The
“Fall into Science” program is community outreach and partnership with
several local elementary schools to highlight the entertaining aspects of
learning science. The program is
performed each year in October and centers on the science phenomena of the
fall and winter season. |
