PGS uses Google Apps for Education for use within the school.

You can sign in to Piedmont Governor’s School email services at http://mail.pgsmst.com using your email address and password.

The first time you sign in, you will be asked to take a moment to set up your account. You will need to accept the Terms and Conditions and enter a CAPTCHA phrase. You will also be required to change your password.

You also have access to Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Sites, Google Classroom and Google Hangouts.

Once you sign into one service, you will have a navigation grid — — at the top that will have links to all of the other services.

To set up PGMST mail and calendar on iPhone/iPod/iPad:

  • Go to Settings
  • Touch Mail, Contacts, Calendars
  • Touch Add Account…
  • Choose Gmail
  • Enter your name in Name,
  • your pgsmst email address in Email,
  • your password in Password,
  • and any description you would like in Description.
  • Tap Next in the upper right corner
  • Choose the services you would like synced
  • Click Save

To set up PGMST mail and calendar on an Android device:

  • Go to Settings and go to Accounts & sync settings
  • Touch Add account
  • Select Google to add your Google account
  • Touch Sign in when prompted
  • Enter your pgsmst email address for username
  • Enter your pgsmst password
  • Choose the services you would like synced
